Africa: Forests Prove Valuable Carbon Sink

La sequía amenaza la contribución del Amazonas contra el cambio climático

A continuación reproducimos un interesante artículo sobre el estudio publicado en la revista Science sobre el Amazonas y el Cambio Climático.
La selva amazónica, que contribuye a ralentizar el cambio climático absorbiendo ingentes cantidades de CO2, es sorprendentemente sensible a la sequía, de acuerdo con una nueva investigación conducida en el bosque tropical más grande del mundo. (more…)
